1. In the form of fresh fruit 

Raw water fruits are also tasty to eat, so you can eat it as such. If you want, you can also eat it by mixing it in fresh salad. 

2. By making porridge 

One of the best ways is to eat water chestnuts in the form of porridge. Water chestnut porridge can be very beneficial for you during pregnancy. To make this, you first fry water chestnut flour in ghee and add some cardamom to it. Now slowly add milk to it and keep stirring till it gets the consistency of porridge. You can also add jaggery to it for taste. 

3. In the form of water chestnut pudding 

If you have a craving for something sweet during pregnancy, you can also make water chestnut kheer. This is a healthy food item for you. To make this, first you boil some milk and add some Sighada powder to it. Now add a pinch of cinnamon powder to it, mix well and let it cook. Finally garnish it with dry fruits and enjoy. 

4. By making water chestnut pudding 

To make halwa, first roast water chestnut flour in ghee and then add water and sugar to it. Now add a little ghee to this mixture and let it cook. Finally garnish it with chopped almonds and enjoy the taste. 

5. Lightly fried as a salad

First of all, take some blanched water chestnuts, blanched chopped capsicum, some green vegetables and beans in a bowl and mix it well. Now take some olive oil in a pan and heat it. Mix the mixture in hot oil and fry it while stirring. If needed, sprinkle a little cornstarch over the mixture and garnish. 

6. By making water chestnut bread 

If you do not feel like eating wheat roti, then you can make water chestnut roti. Make chapatis from water chestnut flour and eat it with your favorite vegetable. 

7. Fry water chestnuts with fenugreek 

Make a paste by adding poppy seeds, curd, cashew nuts, salt and white pepper in a blender. Now fry some fenugreek leaves and chopped water chestnuts in a pan. Then add the paste to this pan and mix the mixture well. Stir it well till it cooks for some time and then serve garnished with coriander leaves. 

8. By making Casserole Casserole 

First peel the water chestnuts and boil them for some time. Now put boiled and peeled water chestnuts and cooked rice together in a pan and mix it well. 

9. Water chestnut as vegetable 

You make any mix vegetable like everyday and then boil and peel water chestnuts and put them in it. Stir this mixture well and add a little salt and pepper to improve the taste. 

10. In the form of water chestnut paste 

During pregnancy, many women have the problem of eczema. Mixing a little water in water chestnut powder and applying it on the itching area can give you a lot of relief and it also ends the problem like eczema.
